Dr. Shauntel Steele, a PNW native, was raised in a small town along the Columbia river in southern Washington. She attended Washington State University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. With an interest in human sight, she went on to earn her doctorate in Optometry from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, where she still calls home.

Dr. Steele practices primary care optometry with a passion for building meaningful relationships with folks in the community. She values the one-on-one time she has with patients and enjoys providing thorough eye care using heartfelt communication.

When she is not working with patients, Dr. Steele enjoys many hobbies, including cooking, foraging for plants and mushrooms, ice skating, and cuddling with her cat, Marley.
