Our optical centers offer high quality products and services. Should you require glasses, the prescription given you by your doctor may be filled at any optical department. Vision/Optical Insurance Coverage

Some major insurance programs include coverage for a portion of the cost of lenses and frames. Review of your insurance policy will tell you what options are and are not covered. Options not covered by insurance are the responsibility of the patient. If you have any questions regarding insurance, we will be glad to help. Patients who purchase glasses through Hillsboro Opticians are requested to make a deposit at the time of the order. The balance is due at the time of dispensing. All eyewear is custom made and unique to each individual. Our goal is to satisfy every patient.

Medicare Patients

Certain Medicare health plans provide a vision care benefit and will cover a portion of the cost of lenses and frames. For patients without this type of insurance, Medicare coverage is limited to prescriptions for eyes on which cataract surgery has been performed.

Because payments from Medicare are not consistent and claims vary, patients are requested to pay for their glasses at the time of dispensing. Hillsboro Opticians will complete and submit the documents needed for reimbursement to those patients who qualify for Medicare benefits.
